The New Youth Centre
The Community of Communes of the Grande Champagne region invites you the be part of the setting up of the new Youth Centre.
Started in September 2004 the Youth Centre rally got going in the October half term holidays.
On the cards are a trip to Futuroscope, drumming sessions, roller skating, football tournaments, boxing, a trip to info 16 Cognac and just hanging out.
Suggestions for the programme were received from all corner of the area allowing everyone to be involved. A meeting and help point « The Place » has been suggested for SEGONZAC to operate during the school holidays.
Things are already happening within the spirit of:-
Putting young people at the centre of things thereby helping them along the road to becoming independent and responsible adults.
A group of young people who were initially unsure about how to kick things off are now at the very centre of the projects for the Youth Centre, organising things such as a cinema project, cultural and sporting events, trips out etc.
If like them, you are aged between 11 and 18 or over, still at school or studying and you want a place where you can get others involved in your plans be they sports, cultural, local life, getting together, humanitarian or whatever.
So why not join us at the Youth Centre?
Qualified people are on hand to welcome you and to :-
help you realise your plans;
help in organising the visits you want to do;
set up sports or cultural workshops that interest you;
to offer practical help.
